Area Attractions
Sunglow Ranch is in the heart of Arizona History - Geronimo and his band of Apaches roamed the Chiricahua Mountains creating havoc among the white settlers as Cochise reigned over the Dragoons to the West.
While the Earp Brothers rode with Doc Holiday at their side trying to bring law & order to the unruly west, Johnny Ringo, The Clantons and many others tried to write history their way. Today ghost towns dot the region, bringing a glimpse of the Old West into the hearts of those who wonder, “What was it really like back then?”
The Chiricahua Mountains, “land of the standing rocks,” climb to elevations of 10,000 feet. Thick Oak-Juniper and pine forests are enveloped by towering volcanic rock sculptures and massive stone columns, some of the most spectacular geological wonders in the world. The area offers a great array of activities: birding, hiking & rock climbing, bicycling and star gazing, plus day trips to nearby attractions and towns.
So whether it be horseback riding in the beautiful Chiricahuas, or spending the afternoon at the vineyards … Sunglow Ranch is the center of it all.
